Reward for editor and cartoonist in Sweden caricature row
Stakes were raised Saturday after a reward was posted for the death of a Swedish artist and editor of a newspaper that recently printed a caricature of Islam's Prophet Mohammed depicted as a dog.
One one hand they must be daft to provoke the lunatics, on the other its their right of free expression which is enjoyed in the western world.
Certainly a good way to perpetuate the "Islam is a religion of peace" business. Draw a cartoon and we'll kill you because god commands it.

actually, teachers are kicked out of public schools openly in the so called west for suggesting that bush is a terrorist. not to mention the hijaab is banned, and major european parties protest openly for laws that would make it illegal for muslim immigrants ot come to european countries. not to mention entire carreers and reputations ruined by the government if a person even vaguely hints at a consprcy theory. or like micheal moore, people are unfairly at the bad end of legal actionj simply becaus ethey make UNPATRIOTIC movies. oh hey, muslim clerics made to leave the country or put into jail without trial{as well as mostly innocent muslims in places like guantanumo where they are illegally tortured and what not} etc.
i wudnt really say that freedom of expression exists in the west my friends. i also find it bad that people are addicted suddenly to anti islam propaganda and islamophobia. when islam is specifically targetted.
sure its an fd up relegion, ill be the first one to say it. but not any worse than christianity/judaism/hinduism/sikhism etc. and i dont see the same amoutn {or even close} of hateful backlash against the others.{after all how many times do u see judah or a guru or guru nannak portrayed as a dog/penis etc? its mostly portrayed to be[well atleast hinduism/sikhism] as deeply spiritual and trancendant and peacefull when i know thats a lad of bullshit and theyr in some sense even worse than islam cud ever be}
