What is oppression?

What is oppression?

Is being punished for something you don't know about, considered oppression?

Is punishing a person more harshly for something that others do all the time or you know they do more bad things then that all the time?

What's the definition of oppression?

When do you know you're being oppressed? Is it relative to how others are treated?
