Many of the middle East countries could harbour terrorists most likely, although Russia is more of a threat to the UK, US and their allies ,I think if terrorists had a nuke, there would have been usage or at least a media scare.
Israel. Their policy regarding Palestine fosters hatred of the united states (who are seen as either the puppeteer or puppet of Israel). America's commitment to defend Israel has brought them into Lebanon twice, the first time being responsible for Bin Laden's original hatred of America.
Israel has run many practice drills and has called for attacks on Iran, which America forbids. imho, Israel's determination to strike at Iran is the most dangerous geo-political situation in the world.
lol, oh, from terrorist attacks?
well, technically, Americans are at the most threat from Americans in terms of terrorism (if you go by numbers of incidents and not number of deaths). However, the american government does not support these groups, so it probably isn't prudent to say that the country of America is the biggest threat.
Saudi Arabia is probably the most dangerous, though they have an intelligence service that at least in part targets extremist groups. Nations like Syria are likely more involved in what would be deemed by Western media sources as terrorism, but it is generally local. International terrorism doesn't really have nation-state support, with notable exception of Afghanistan, and Sudan in the... oh, maybe it was the 90s... and even then, it is more support by not killing them and destroying the camps.
as a concept in general, sure
as in: "Are there currently international Muslim terrorists, sent by organizational command of Al Qaeda or related groups to infiltrate America, awaiting orders to carry out pre-planned attacks?"
potentially, but I would be skeptical. I would believe there are unaffiliated groups of people working on attacks, but that they are being commanded by international groups, I do not know. It is possible.
Now, if you remove the Muslim part of the question, I would say absolutely, without any question. Domestic terrorist organizations, such as the Army of God, are constantly engaged in planning attacks, and survivalist groups, such as the ones that spawned Tim McVeigh, likely have some real nutters.
dangerous to who? They pose no threat to me personally, so 0/10 on that one. They pose a threat only to Americans living in the immediate region around their country, so 0/10 for mainland America, probably something like 6-7/10 for Americans currently serving in Iraq and maybe 3/10 for American civilians living in South Asia. As the Iranian government knows Israel would decimate it militarily, I'd say they might pose a 2-3/10 threat against them, simply given there is a theological side to the issue.
Regionally, I'd say 7/10, as they are somewhat of a destabilizing force at the moment. Saudi Arabia probably has the most to fear from them, for the most fundamental of political reasons.
Strangely, America has decided to trade enriched uranium to the saudis in exchange for oil. Saudi Arabia, I would say poses at least a raise of +2 to each of those threat values.
The most common profile for a terrorist in America is white male christian.
They will almost assuredly strike at innocent people again.
yes, the demonization of Arab ethnicity and of Islam in the media is a scare tactic. Al Qaeda is putting more resources into attacking Europe from north Africa than America.
most interesting part of the article:
caption to that picture of Ahmadinejad in the nuclear facility talking with the scientists should have read: In America, people think scientists are boring and would rather people made them feel happy and special. In Iran, nuclear science is a national treasure, the leaders in the field meet with the president frequently. America is ****ed. Not because of bombs, but because of science.

Re: The greatest threat to the United States?
1. At this point, i don't know anymore. I am more inclined to believe that, like always, American Citizens are America's most pertinent threat involving terror.
2. Yes
3. If provoked, Iran can be as dangerous as any Super Power, if not more. I do not believe they have nefarious plans of world domination though No one wants Nuclear War. Irans development into Nuclear arms is for nothing more than Stature, just like North Korea. Every Country has Nuclear weapons. If there is a treaty against development into Nuclear arms, it should only be honored when it is honored by all. So, why shouldn't Iran be allowed to develop Nuclear weapons. Do you think America, Russia and China had Superman throw all of their Nukes into the sun?
4. Yes, im sure America will see many more Terrorist attacks. Whether those attacks are carried out by enemies domestic or foreign, well...,probably both.

Re: The greatest threat to the United States?
Iran or the US itself.
Yeah.
Uranium requires a certain quality not quantity to build a nuke. A lot of nations have nukes, we should welcome them to the club if they ever admit to having one.
It won't happen any time soon.

The biggest threat the US is its scrupulous bankers, politicians and other unknown high up there influential people who would do anything to secure their own luxury. Their hunger for wealth and control is very dangerous. Plus the financial system is a house of cards balancing on wobbly thing on a tightrope.
Another problem is nationality, ok its cool to be proud of where you come from but when you hear some speeches with all this " were the greatest nation of all time" and such comments, then itīs on a parallel path to Hitlers "Master race"," we are the best ideas". A useful tool to inspire the nation into attacking another country for no reason.
Sleeper cells, yes I do. But Seeing as the US is the leader in brainwashing techniques and such its more likely that they have positioned the sleeper cells. Its possible that there are Saudi supported sleeper cells in the USA, seeing as their form as Islam is the extreme version, Friends who would stab you in the back these people.
Iran is no danger whatsoever to the USA, the propaganda machine is against them because they wonīt tow the USAīs line in various areas.
9/11 was an inside job, or at least the Bush government new about it, the evidence is undeniable but thats another argument (conspiracy thread).
Nevertheless a terrorist attack could happen, dirty bomb or even a nuclear if the USA doesnīt become more open minded and stops trying to force other soverign countires into doing what they want.
You linked Fox news, wake up!!!
