Just came across an article claiming that Jesus used cannabis .

Their evidence seems to be that some people think that maybe one of the ingredients in the oils he used for anointing might have possibly been an extract of cannabis, but no one can really be sure because the language has changed so much since the text was written.
Stretching that into "Jesus was a stoner" is pretty egregious.

That's true, there's a good probability that he consumed it at least once in his 30-odd years. It's even been discussed in several shows on the History Channel. But using an attention-grabbing title like "Jesus was a cannabis user" seems to imply that he liked hitting the bong while wearing a tie-dye shirt, listening to Indian sitar music and watching Cheech & Chong all at the same time.
A moot point considering those are anachronisms. Duuuh.
