So, hopefully this turns out well. An elected official who seems genuinely interested in representing his constituency, especially on issues that seem they should cross party line (two-tiered justice system, drinking water, financial meltdown). The unfortunate part is that he seemingly will have to fight tooth and nail against his fellow representatives in government to get there.
I really thought this was interesting, as I had assumed we were past the point of anyone saying anything about the criminal activity of banks that played a major role in the financial crisis, let alone criminal investigations.
Hope this turns out to be more exciting then the Libyan conflict. That ended in a really boring manner.

So like...still going on, but all the good scenes are already over and no one really cares for any of the characters and might as well go watch that new movie about the lone DA (he gets demoted for the underdog quality, blame Hollywood) taking on the corrupt establishment?
Exactly. Underdog stories are only good when the underdog wins.

I sincerely wish this guy good luck, I hope he gets the support he will need.

So what is it exactly you want? You complain about all the world's problems and then heap scorn on anyone trying to fix them. I don't understand why you even bother posting.
Well, considering the recent report that politicians get suspiciously higher returns on their investments than anyone else, I kind of doubt this will amount to anything. However, if the banksters are caught up in wrong doing and are forced to resign, i certainly hope they get the appropriate SEVERANCE.

I am not heaping scorn. When I was younger I actually believed the establishment could be challenged.
As I grew older however I came to see that the old cliche is true, The Golden Rule is.....He who has thee gold, makes the rules.
