World oldest pot stash found.

Nearly two pounds of still-green Marijuana was material found in a 2,700-year-old grave in the Gobi Desert. It´s apparently the world's oldest marijuana stash.

I wonder if they can sell it for more as the two bottles of the world's oldest Champagne, which spent about 170 years at the bottom of the ocean, sold for 54,000 euros ($78,400) at an auction in Finland.

That would be some shit worth trying smile

there are sources indicating that weed (hemp, they purposefully destroyed the female plants) has been grown in China for... iirc 5000+ years

but yes, I would smoke the hell out of this, screw if it gets you high

Nearly two pounds though? I'm not really knowledgable when it comes to pot, but isn't that quite a bit for personal smoking? Couldn't you presumably set aside a few ounces for yourself and then sell the rest for a killing?

Even if the THC was preserved, the amount of THC in weed was really low until after the 60s when growers started crossbreeding to maximize THC. So practically speaking, you may as well gather some leaves from an oak or maple outside, grind them up, and have yourself a good playing pretend session.
