How near a collapse of the world's infrastructure are we?

We have a global community, which may insulate mankind from the effects of total eradication. We have so many threats... The disparity of gain between individuals and nations, Climate Change caused by man, differences in political and religious ideologies, "strong men," and an Economic framework which puts countries in debt for trillions they will never be able to repay. Growing populations, lack of resources and available food, etc.

What will break first and how near to breaking point are we?

I have avoided natural disasters, pandemic and global conflict... These could occur at any time.

All it takes is one bad day to reduce the sanest man alive to lunacy.

Stephen Hawking communicates through his computer voice we need to be off the planet in 100 years. Jarad Diamond believes the collapse is fifty years away. Many Economists believe the monetary system is at breaking point already.

Well we won't be off planet in 100 years, so I guess we're f*cked.

The global economy continues to decline more and more. Automation is replacing human jobs. I think a guaranteed basic income is the only answer otherwise there is going to be mass civil unrest

The preacher man says it's the end of time. He says that America's rivers are going dry. The interest is up, the stock market's down. You guys have to be careful walking around here this late at night. This this this is the perfect place to get jumped. It was Coney Island, they called Coney Island the playground of the world – there was no place like it, in the whole world, like Coney Island when I was a youngster. No place in the world like it, and it was so fabulous. Now it's shrunk down to almost nothing, you see. I still remember in my mind how things used to be, and I feel very bad. But people from all over the world came here from all over the world – they called it the playground of the world over here. When I was very small, I even got lost at Coney Island, but they found me on the on the beach. And we used to sleep on the beach here, sleep overnight – they don't do that anymore. Things changed, you see. They don't sleep anymore on the beach. So says the preacher man, it's the end of time – but I don't go by what he says.

Desertification will be a problem likely in the next 50-100 years. Huge swathes of India, China, Southern Europe will become increasingly uninhabitable barring huge technological and infrastructure investment. Fresh water and farmland will become massively strained. Populations will move north and Russia will have a huge population boom as central and eastern siberia become more inhabited where as China, India and Africa populations will crash.
