Donald Trumps Dad was arrested marching with the KKK
On Memorial Day in 1927, the Ku Klux Klan marched in Queens to protest Protestant American citizens being "assaulted by Roman Catholic police of New York City. Fred was arrested "on a charge of refusing to disperse from a parade when ordered to do so," and the only one of seven men dismissed without charges. All seven arrested were referred to as "berobed marchers" in the Long Island Daily Press. A Vice article noted that if any of the attendees weren't "dressed in a robe at the time, that may have been a reporting error worth correcting." When asked about the issue in September 2015, Donald Trump, then a candidate for President of the United States, denied that his father had ever been arrested.
Is it true that the protest was about Protestants getting kicked by Catholic coppers? If so, seems an unusually worthwhile cause for the KKK to fight for. The 'berobed' bit is particularly condemning for Trump the Elder. To defend Trump the Younger for once though, he may genuinely not know about it. If my father was ever arrested before I was born, I doubt he'd tell me.

My grandfather, RIP, said the n-word a few times when I was around him. Luckily, my mother taught me better manners and did not want me to talk like my grandfather.
In my grandfather's generation, it was not just acceptable to be racist against black people. It was negative to be supportive and accepting of "colored folk." Wanting civil equality for black people in the 20s was considered bad. "N***** lover" was a label given to you. And that was bad.
To the article, definitely a different time. And you honestly and correctly mentioned that he wasn't clothed in Klan garb.
I've taken the position since 2015 that Trump is racist and sexist. I'm still correct about him. His father taught him well.
I do not believe in open borders and think that idea is absolutely retarded. Until the concept of money goes away and/or we create Star Trek-esque replicators, open borders is one of the most retarded ideas leftards have ever come up with.
But how is Trump racist DDM? What has he really done that makes him racist?
Worse yet, in the 90’s what about all those Blacks-like Sharpton and Jesse that supported him? Are they also racist? Since they are now themselves calling him a racist?
Aren’t they even far worse than Trump then?
I personally wants to see the betterment of my race, and I will and have called out others Blacks on their bullshits. Am I a racist?
What about the Blacks that calls me names like Uncle Tom or house ****** because I speak proper English and act a certain way. Shouldn’t they also be considered racist?
I think just labeling a person racist just because he has a different set of views from you is wrong. Especially without any proper proof.

He's racist! Sort of like he's also a nazi, you know the type...nazis with daughters who convert to Judaism...who carve out strong relationships with Israel? Those are the worst nazis.

While I do agree with and appreciate the points you're making, here, these are irrelevant red herrings to my point about Trump being racist.
Probably more exacting terms need to be used to make your point.
You can possess a different set of views from me and be racist. You can possess a different set of views from me and not be racist.
I think labeling someone racist because they say and believe racist things is correct. Sure, those views are different from me. But those differing views are about Trump being racist and I don't buy into his particular brand of racism. For example:
Not wanting black people to handle his money in his casinos because, specifically, black people are lazy, that would be a racist statement.
"Black guys counting my money! I hate it. … I think that the guy is lazy. And it’s probably not his fault, because laziness is a trait in blacks."
Lol so did Trump actually say the lazy black comment or is that from someone claiming he said it?
If he said it(as opposed to someone claiming he said it) democrats are dumb as f*ck. Too stupid for words. Cuz that shit should have been shouted from the rooftops during the 2016 election and they didn't do it.

"Trump treated black employees at his casinos differently from whites, according to multiple sources. A former hotel executive said Trump criticized a black accountant: “Black guys counting my money! I hate it. … I think that the guy is lazy. And it’s probably not his fault, because laziness is a trait in blacks.”
^Examples like this best be the exception and not the rule. Cuz nah, some former employee saying it means shit to me. It's not evidence.

"In 1989, Trump took out ads in New York newspapers urging the death penalty for five black and Latino teenagers accused of raping a white woman in Central Park; he argued they were guilty as late as October 2016, more than 10 years after DNA evidence had exonerated them."
^I stopped reading after this. This isn't necessarily racism, the article is misleading to imply it is definitely racism at work. So I don't have much faith in the rest of the shit they're gonna spew.
Maybe there is more context, maybe he said "they need to die cuz they are black" but the article didn't share such context.

But of all the things you chose to pick out, you chose that one? What about the dozens of other racist things Trump has said or did? There's no debate, here. Anyone who thinks there is a debate about Trump's racism is in denial and it's pathetic Trump-apologist stupidity.
"Probably true" isn't actually evidence of racism though.
And that isn't the only one I picked out.

Some elements are up for debate. It's up to the reader to determine if Trump was racially motivated on some of those. Others? No, not even close. In context with his track record? Yeah, pretty much all of that is evidence of his racism with no room for debate.
If one of those was taken in a microcosm, you'd have a reason to consider it not being racist. But in context with all his other shenanigans, he cannot be given the benefit of the doubt while also pretending to be honest about your assessment of Trump's racism.
"He uses the gang MS-13 to disparage all immigrants. Among many other statements, he has suggested that Obama’s protection of the Dreamers — otherwise law-abiding immigrants who were brought to the United States illegally as children — contributed to the spread of MS-13."
No, not racist.
"In December 2015, Trump called for a “a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States,” including refusing to readmit Muslim-American citizens who were outside of the country at the time."
No, not racist.
"Trump called Obama (who was editor in chief of the Harvard Law Review) “a terrible student, terrible.”
No, not racist.

Right, you picked out 2. And then claimed to stop reading. Your fault. You can easily google search more of these things for yourself but stick to just one article. That's your choice, not mine.
"He frequently offers false crime statistics to exaggerate urban crime, including about Oakland, Philadelphia and Ferguson, Mo."
No, not racist.
"He called Puerto Ricans who criticized his administration’s response to Hurricane Maria “politically motivated ingrates.”
No, not racist.
"Trump hired Steve Bannon as his campaign head and later White House chief strategist. Under Bannon’s leadership, the website Breitbart made white nationalism a central theme. It featured a section, for example, on “black crime.”
No, not racist.
