Seems to be true, all the major outlets are carrying it. Twitter doesn't want their platform used as a staging ground for further attacks it seems.

Conspiracy theorists will always be out there. Bannings without solid evidence these theories lead to action may simply end up radicalizing people, who otherwise may have been content to blow off steam into the wind.

The evidence seems to be an account that was posting or sharing QAnon conspiracy nonsense. "Stop the steal", "Clinton drinks infant blood!" etc.

Least how the story reads.
