Apparently Trump's lawyers did a shit job of arguing that this trial would be unconstitutional, but still only six Republicans had the balls to put country before party.
Not really seeing the goal here. The point of impeachment is to remove a sitting president from office, leaving you free to persue criminal charges against him as you would any private citizen.
If this trial is all about conviction of crimes from while in office... Since he's no longer protected by the executive office as is, can't they jump straight to a criminal trial?

Biden may be a Centrist himself, but his party has a significant Radical Leftist group in it and I fear he'll give in to some, if not all, of their demands.
