France & Accordions
Have you noticed that in every American movie or series, when a scene takes place in France or sometimes when someone speaks French, you hear accordions in the background (soundtrack) ? Come on ! What the hell is that ? Are the American spectators so stupid that they cannot understand that something is happening in France if they don't hear someone playing the accordion ? Are we looked upon as still living in the 40's ?
Even in Star Trek: The next generation, you can hear some, even if we are in year 2360 or something...

I was in France last year for over a month and I heard not one accordian. Thought I was in Belgium at times.
