I thought the entire "Indiana Jones" trilogy was boring. Just an opinion, so don't shoot.
That said, there are A TON of great movies that were made in the 80's, so much so, it defies the purpose of this thread.

Too subjective. Better off asking peoples favorite movies of the 80's.
BTW, what are yours?

Well, I considered putting down "The Blues Brothers" too, but I wanted to avoid the bitchy "This is turning into a list thread" posts. Instead, I'm seeing "We can't choose just one" posts. Damned if you do....

Good idea all of us should just say what we think are the best movies of the 80's instead of just choosing one film.

Scarface
Nightmare On Elm Street
The Terminator
Gremlins
Aliens
The Abyss

1987 was the best year ever for movies. The top 5 from that year were:
River's Edge
Wall Street
Fatal Attraction
Evil Dead II: Dead by Dawn
Hellraiser
with an honorary mention for Spaceballs and Predator .
