the mystery coat-check song from the TV version of 16 candles
The song played in the coat-check scene in Sixteen Candles [TV VERSION!] is not the Divinyls song "Ring Me up."
Instead it is a song where a GUY is singing, "(guitar rif-rif-rif) HOO! (guitar rif) HAH! Got to find you...."
Does anybody know what this awesome song is? Who sings it? Is it just a guy singer doing a cover of Ring Me Up? Or is it something completely different? For the love of Pete, where can I find this song?!?
