The Santa clause was a good christmas movie too. I forgot about that movie. I'm not talking about tim allens santa clause, but that is a destined classic aswell. I am talking about the other one, about the elf who made candy canes that made you fly.

I love "The Nightmare Before Christmas", Hell who doesn't?
I loved the two "Home Alone" movies but they didn't really capture the Christmas essence for me.
I loved the movie "Santa Claus" because it just captured the essence unlike any other. My Grandfather is in it for a couple of seconds, he's an elf.

2 Home Alone 2: Lost in New York
3 Die Hard
4 The Snowman
5 The Tom and Jerry christmas cartoon
6 It's A Wonderful Life
7 Scrooged
8 The one with Dudley Moore as a elf
9 Back to the Future
10 Return of the Jedi
9 & 10 may not be Xmas movies but they are by association IMO. T&J & The Snowman may not be feature length, but they are ace. Also I was running out of stuff to put in a top 10.

In football, you use your foot to kick the ball, hence the name.
Americans add throwing, pads, alter the length of the game etc, i.e. change it completely yet still call it football.
Then they call the original soccer, and expect the rest of the world to adopt this bastard name. Pish.
From hence forth American football shall be known as "soccer." by me.
