For me:
" The Dark Crystal".
" The Last Unicorn".

" The Princess Bride".

A Christmas Story
The Princess Bride
Ferris Bueller's Day Off
Honey, I Shrunk the Kids
The Goonies
Harry and the Hendersons
Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
Gremlins
The Terminator
Well, many of my favorites wouldn't be considered "best" of that era (e.g. I have fond memories of movies like "Popeye", "Clash of the Titans" and "Death on the Nile", which had relatively little critical acclaim).
For a long block of years, I usually associated a specific year with the BIG movie that I saw:
1976--Close Encounters of the Third Kind
1977--Star Wars
1978 & 79--??? (more memories of TV, specifically "Mork and Mindy")
1980--The Empire Strikes Back
1981--Raiders of the Lost Ark
1982--E.T.
1983--Return of the Jedi
1984--Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
1985--Back to the Future

Your Fav movies as a kid
Hey everyone,
My husband & I are moving to our first house, and I was packing up a whole bunch of stuff we had packed away, when I came across a load of movies I used to watch as a kid. Man, those are memories! I was wondering if anyone had seen these, or remembers others, as I'm pretty sure I've seen more than what is on this list, but I don't have that kind of memory! I put them in order of my preference!
The Goonies
Labyrinth
Care Bears 2 - A new Beginning
Rainbow Brite (all movies the same)
Honey I Shrunk the Kids
Alice in Wonderland (Disney)
Back to the Future (whole series)
There's more, but I'm at work, and they're at home, and like I said...my memory...
