Okay, I'll rate number nine. It contains eight movies in seven years, including four that haven't been made yet. And five years from now there will, or maybe there might, be a movie made in 2010. But there definately will. Maybe.

You really like all those movie so much that you couldnt narrow your favorites down to 5 or 10? How the hell do you decide what kind of ice cream to get? Anyway if i were to rate your list i would give it a 3 out of 10. alot of good movies but some were to much of the same as each other.

This list isn't too credible because the movies were listed in spurts.

Meaning, when you got to #11, you had a cartoon kick going on. Hence, you have The Last Unicorn, NIMH, and Mulan back-to-back-to-back.

Other occurrences:
#19-20 Aladdin and Beauty and the Beast are back-to-back
#68-73 was the horror movie kick.
#104-107: Comic Book alert
And I could go on and on with examples, but I’ll just end with the Freddy/Jason/Freddy vs. Jason debacle at #122-124.

It’s like no effort was put into actually sorting the list.

I don't see One flew over the cuckoos nest on that list, thus I don't agree with it.

Caed, this marks about the 6th time that John's shared this list, looking for people's imput. It's kind of redundant and pointless.

Frankly, to have been a movie fan all your life, I'm having a hard time understanding why the list is lacking important movies such as "Snow White", "Airplane!", Charlie Kaufman films, Tim Burton films, "Night of the Living Dead", "Planet of the Apes", "Texas Chainsaw Massacre"...I mean...?

So there you have it, do i have good taste or what?

You shouldn't care about what other people think about your taste in movies, but since you're asking, I think your list is severely flawed.

I'll give you TWO more good reasons why. No "Goodfellas" and no "Godfather".

Well, he did say "favorite" movies, not "best" movies.

I understand that, but how can you like "Scarface", and leave off "Godfather" or "Goodfellas", and hold "ANTZ" in higher regard in favoritism?

Baffling.

I like scarface way better then godfather, found it boring really. Haven't seen goodfellas, don't like the mobster type movies, they're all the same thing.

I felt part 3 of Die Hard was weak but preety good even though i have the entire trilogy on DVD!

It's also nice to see someone else loves Last Unicorn, i agree it's an underappreciated movie and one of my favorite movies as a kid along with " Dark Crystal" and " Secret of NIMH".

I also thought "ANTZ" was a brilliant but underappreciated animated movie, sure it had some competition against Bug's Life in 1998 but both movies are fantastic.

We all have different tastes in films, especially when it comes to favourites. So if there isn't certain films on the list, so be it.

Because I'm anal about the sorting factor and the lack of effort involved in it, on a scale of 1 to 10 I'm giving it a 4.
