The other categories aren't important to me. stick out tongue

Of course, the list above are who I want to win.

Who I think will win are:

Picture: Babel or Iwo Jima. A toss-up at this point
Actor: Forest Whitaker, The Last King of Scotland. No contest.
Actress: Helen Mirren, The Queen. A lock.
Supporting Actor: Eddie Murphy, Dreamgirls. Only upset could be Hounsou.
Supporting Actress: Jenifer Hudson, Dreamgirls. Another lock.
Director: Martin Scorsesee, The Departed. Damn straight. Marty gets his Oscar finally, after delivering one of the best modern gangster films in years with a cast chock-full of great performances from great actors.

Of absolutely no importance.....my birthday is Feb. 25th.

"Happy Feet"'s gonna take it over "Cars" surprisingly enough.

Clint's gonna take home best dir. for Iwo, i think.

And it's gonna come down Smith and Dicaprio for best actor. Can't decide which and it's a tuff in between "Babel and The Departed."

And visuals, wow. Can't decide in between "Supes/Returns" and "POTC2"

Oh man, I'll be looking forward to the Academy's this year.

I'm glad that trash "Dreamgirls" didn't get nominated. I am upset at the snub for Affleck in "Hollywoodland" though.

what is the big deal about Dream Girls...

I would love to see Will Smith win, but Forest Whitaker might take it happy

Yeah, I thought they already made Spice World and it's much too soon to do a remake.

my very very humble opinion considering many of these films i haven't seen and am going soly on what i've heard about them and the reviews they've gotten. I generally like the nominations except i think Children of Men should get several other nominations (Pic, dir, Art design) and Than you for smoking should have been nominated for best adapted screenplay. so, take everything with a grain of salt most of these i'm just bulsh*tt*ng. hoe you could get the abbreviations.

I'm surprised that Dreamgirls didn't get a nod for Best Picture, it was thought to be a lock. I guess it just shows that nothing's set in stone

I'm glad Dreamgirls didn't get Best Picture nod, but I don't understand why the hell Little Miss Sunshine got the nod for Best Picture, I mean what the hell, I thought it was just a mediocre movie, extremely overrated.
