I gave the movie a rating of 8.9 out of 10: a very high rating for my personal rating system.
I really enjoyed this movie. It really hit home. I almost came to tears twice in the movie. The grandfather was really well developed and written almost perfect in every way.
They made the movie with a slight tinge of fantasy. Nicely done. They took it to the border of believable and, for the most part, it was believable. It reminded me of the American TV show "The Pretender" hybridized slightly with the movie "Blank Check"
There were errors in the writing, but I believe they can be easily overlooked for the intended outcome.
If you grew up isolated because of your differences or because your parents pushed you too hard, you'll be able to relate to this film very well and even obtain a degree of satisfaction as the main character seemingly gets a from of revenge on more than one occasion.
If any of you like quiet films about person vs. self/person vs. person, this film is for you. If you enjoyed "A Beautiful Mind" you should watch this film.
I added it to Netflix; if it sucks, I'll wish gonorrhea on you.

Just watched it; it was decent, enjoyable enough, but not great.

Good. I normally wouldn't give such a good rating to a movie like that.
I have seen about half of it...mixed and matched over time. Just never got the chance to watch it from start to finish. The parts I did see were funny.
