Favorite intense physical acting scenes/intense performances

I was watching some scenes from Gangs of New York and There will be blood, and was reminded of Daniel Day Lewis’s mastery of physical acting. What are some moments in a film where you were awed by an actor chewing scenery or wowed by their range or physical presence in a scene? How has the scene held up in subsequent rewatches of the movie

As musclebound as Jeep Swenson was, I was impressed he could smoothly lay on the ground. It’s held up well.
