I was never really into Falcon as Cap in the comics, however I am getting definite Captain America: TWS vibes from this trailer, which I can 100% get behind.

Yeah, the trailer definitely gives off similar vibes to CA:TWS (which is still my favourite MCU movie to date), so I'm cautiously optimistic about this one. Most of the MCU movies and shows in recent years have been disappointing IMO, but the trailers for Deadpool and Wolverine and now this have looked really solid, so here's hoping they can turn things around.

I think The Marvels was the final nail in the coffin that made them look at the quality of thr films they'd been putting out. That's why we're only getting Wolvie & Deadpool this year and BNW isn't dropping till February. We don't need a bazillion trash Marvel movies at once, just one or 2 amazing ones at a time.
I get strong 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' vibes and that's f*cking great, as that's one of the top marvel movies, in the top 5 in my book.
Isaiah Bradley going full beast mode was kinda odd, as he still had super strength in the TV show, but he seemed clearly WELL past his prime. Unless I'm misremembering the scenes?
We didn't see him do much, but he did casually carry a small tree in a potted plant that can weigh upwards of 90lbs with soil and the plant, possibly more. And he accidentally got a tin can stuck in the wall with a toss.
He might be old, but he's still a super-soldier. He should have no problem decimating a normal person. Also as he seems to be under mind control, he won't have the normal limitations his brain would put on him.
I think that's more because his actor Carl Lumbly is 73 this year. With stunt doubles and CGI they can make him appear like a 70yr old super soldier and not a 70yr old man.
I agree though. I still wanna see Isaiah rip off Bucky's original titanium ark. I think a bulked up Yahya Mahteen(Black Manta) could make a good Young Bradley.
^^^Gotta disagree on that.
It would’ve been shoving political correctness white guilt moral lessons down the viewers throats nonstop.
I don’t think it’s wrong to use a character like Isaiah to explore racial themes but, I’ve no doubt it would’ve been heavy handed af at the expense of action and adventure.
Anyway, trailer looks good, def. catching this in theaters.
