I saw Two Towers.
Holy shit. I went to a sneak peek showing today. ****n amazing movie.
I saw the first Nerd of the Rings, I thought it kicked ass too.
The movie was awesome. The special effects were ****n brilliant. The huge battle was like..Braveheart, Gladiator, Conan The Barbarian and all those movies combined. My only complaint is that the there were some really stupid looking creatures. I dont remember what they were called- but they were like giant trees or somethn. Retarded looking. But the movie was awesome. I liked some parts in it better than Nerd of the Rings 1, and I liked some parts in Nerd of the Rings 1 better than some in this movie. But I dunno I dont think you can compare.
If you liked the first one you'll probably like this one better. Cuz it really is better. Less chit chat and more action.
I'd give it a 5 out a 5. AND THAT'S VERY GOOD, cuz I dont usually watch movies like this.
So GO SEE THIS MOVIE. It truly kicks ass.

ok, i just got back... and yes...everything you heard was true, the final battle scene is one of the most incredible if not THE most incredible scene ever captured on film, never before has a film captured the spirit of war, its just...amazing. see it, and if this is any indication, the lord of teh rings trilogy will surpass star wars as the pinicale of trilogy's.

i dunno man, once you see how incredible two towers is, you may change your mind, i thought that too, i didnt think lord of teh rings would be able to one up star wars, but like i said, if this movie is any indication, it could happen.

I wont change my mind. I TT know its gonna be good and the LOTR trilogy is awesome, but I grew up with the OT Star Wars so it is kind of special to me. Collecting the comics posters and all, they are all gone now though lost them when I moved.....I think. But Star Wars was so much part of me growing up it is just it when it comes to films......for me that is

Here it comes:
This movie is the best movie of 2002. I have never seen this kind of movie, it was even better than the fellowship of the ring.
And the persons who say this time that Legolas only fierd a couple of arrows, can either hang them selfs, or see the movie again, because this time you can really see the talents of Orlando Bloom.
the acting was superb, simply the best. the filming was exelente, peter Jackson has again made a master pice of the rear kind.
The battle scenes where terrific, almost never seen better.
there where a lot more humor in this movie, I laughed a lot, and I loved the Ets( the living threes) they where funny, so where gimli, wich had an hell of a good preformance, but my highlight of the night was without doubt Legolas, he ROCKED
I will rate this 6 out a 6

Ok First; it’s a great film, and no mistake.
Onto on of the most important things for me; the differences from the book. [SPOILER - highlight to read]: PJ said that this would be the one film who differed most from the book, and that is true. Almost all the changes are for the good of the film though. Shelob being moved to the third film, an extra ambush, other minor nitpickings; no problem. Frodo being taken to Osgiliath; seems pointless but not really a problem. The only real problem is Faramir. He is definately one of my favourite characters in the book, he is wise more than anything else, but in the film we see him tempted by the ring, we see him taking Frodo to Osgiliath which is not wise at all. He appears feeble, weak, and that’s baaad. Its not the actors fault, it’s the character. But as said that’s the only real complain I have about the film AT ALL.
The pace of the film is good; it’s fast, ever-moving, and gives neither us nor the characters any rest. It works well to show how they are always struggling, always having a hard time.
The acting is second to none, the casting is second to none. Of the new characters (can’t remember all the actors right now:/) Eowyn works wonderful, just wonderful. Same with Theoden and definately Grima Wormtounge.
Now on to the best part, and maybe best actor(!); the CGI Gollum. One word; AMAZING. Must be seen to be believed. He beats Yoda (and def. Jar JarJ) by miles and miles. The face, THE FACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The effects are mostly superb. Some times with the ents feat.merry and pippin its too easy to spot bluescreen effects. Other than that it’s great. Doesn’t beat AOTC on CGI creatures in general though (but on gollum, YES!). the ents are kewl-looking, as I had imagined them when reading the book. The big battle looks smashing.
Overall; it’s grand, it’s amazing, it has small flaws, but it is GREAT! I want to see it many more times and I will, can’t wait for next time, can’t wait for the dvd. It has no real beginning, it has no real end, it’s as cliffhanger-ish as can be, but PJ has still made it a great experience.
9/10
