Probably in Fall or around Christmas, or maybe Early 2004, who knows, I haven't seen any release dates or even Seasons yet. I loved this movie as much as the first, I think the cars and stunts made up for the not-so-perfect cast, I can't wait for the game!

2 Fast 2 Furious
2 FAST 2 FURIOUS
I loved this movie. After a month of asking for it at my neighbourhood visit store it finally came in and I picked it up. It certainly lived up to its name, it was both fast and furious, and though lacking a half-descent plot, the drag racing scenes took centre stage, and I didn’t care.
Paul Walker plays ex-LAPD cop Brain O’Conner on the lamb after helping Dominic Toretto, played by Vin Diesel (from The Fast and the Furious) escape the authorities. Now he lives a life of a drag racing junkie and is known throughout the circles as a god among mortals with his hot wheels and surfer good looks. But eventually his past catches up to him and he’s captured and reluctantly accepts a mission that pits him up against a notorious and sadistic drug lord named Cole Hauser. For his cooperation, his rap street, which is a mile long, will be cleared. O’Conner then recruits a childhood chum Roman Pearce (Tyrese) to join him who is also up to his neck with the law. Rome is given the same deal and after both are given a hot set of wheels, they meet their target, Cole Hauser (Carter Verone), and participate in a race with other racers to become his lap dogs, eventually becoming the getaway drivers for a crap load of cash for selling drugs.
Here they meet hot and sexy Monica Fuentes, (Eva Mendes), an undercover cop, and she helps O’Conner and Rome get closer to him. Posing as his girlfriend for the last eleven months she knows everything about his operation. But when things go arye and their cover is compromised, everyone’s lives are on the line. And it’s do or die! All their racing skills are put to the test.
The only problem I had with this movie was Paul Walker’s performance. Not to say he didn’t play his role well. It’s just that played the part like Keanu Reeves in The Matrix; you know with that cool and collected I‘m-not-afraid-of-anything attitude. And he sounds so much like Keanu that that it’s uncanny. Every time Walker spoke, Keanu Reeves voice echoes in my ears. And not that I’m complaining but I lost count how many times the term “bro” was spoken. I think it should become an official word after this movie.
The best thing about this movie are the cars without question. Totally stylish and futuristic, the street racing/drag racing scenes were off da hook! And when they kicked it into high gear and turned on the nitro, “warp speeding” the cars … Wow! I can’t believe that this sort of thing actually happens for real.
