Deathwatch
Rented this out at the weekend and it was pretty good.....
Another Brit cast horror released, probably trying to cash in on the success of Dog Soldiers. It starts in WW1 when a group of British troops get stuck behind enemy lines and find themselves holding up in a deserted German trench. But why is it deserted?
At first I missunderstood the film and thought it was a zombie pic, then it kinda had lots of stolen bits from other horror films but in the end it all made sense to me. Not a bad film at all really and the cast certainly accounts for some of the films charm:
Andy Serkis (Gollum), that young lad from Billy Elliot, that funny older brother from My Family and Hugo Spear (The Full Monty).
If you rent it out on DVD, watch the half finished version of Serkis' death scene. If they hadn't run out of money, that would have been a great gore moment.
6.5/10

No, but if you watch the movie with the director talking over it, you get to find out where the hell they are.
Its not a bad movie, only just came out on DVD over here so not sure about in the US.
