I saw it yesterday. It was pretty cute, much better then I expected to be. I think they were trying to hard to make Anna all punk like. And the whole Jake thing was weird, I don't think he'd stick around. Overall it was enjoyable, I'd see it again.
Ok, A disobidient teen, Lindsay Lohan, and an uptight mother,Jamie Lee Curtis, switch bodies due to magical fortune cookies. The mother goes to Anna's school and relizes schools much differant then she thought. She gets more insight into Anna's life. Anna goes to her mothers office and deals with her patients. (She's a psychiatrist.) Probelms begin when Anna is supposed to be at her bands audition but stuck in her mothers body she can't, she has a rehersal dinner. Dr.Coleman stuck in her daughters body has a rehersal dinner but ends up on stage auditioning! It's a good family type movie. I'd bring this one along if I went babysitting. It's entertaining for me and them.
7.5/10

Pippin: What about breakfast?
Aragorn: You've already had it.
Pippin: We've had one, yes. What about second breakfast?
Merry: I don't think he knows about second breakfast, Pip.
Pippin: What about elevenses? Luncheon? Afternoon tea? Dinner? Supper? He knows about them, doesn't he?
Merry: I wouldn't count on it.

Frodo: I cant do this, Sam.
Sam: I know. Its all wrong. By rights we shouldnt be here...but we are. Its like in the great srories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of Darkness andanger, they were, and sometimes you didnt want to know the end because how could the end be happy. How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad happened... but in the end its only a passing thing. The Shadow even darkness will pass. A new day WILL come. And when the sun shines it will shine out clearer. Those are the stories that stay with you and meant something. Even if you were too small to understand why. But, I think, Mr. Frodo, i do understand... iknow now. Folk in those stories have a lot of chances to turn back, but they didnt. They kept going because they were holding on to something!
FRODO: What are we holding onto, Sam?
Sam: That theres some good in this world, Mr Frodo and its worth fighting for.
freaky friday doesn't come to theaters here until august 6th. but my mom and i agree for the first time in our lives that those two in the movie are exactly like me and her
Hated the original. Will most probably hate this one when it gets put on TV at Easter in five years time or whatever. I ain't wasting valuable monies on this turdreel.
Why the hell were there 3 lead guitars in the band and 1 bass?
