Warning The Hobbit

I don't know if there's been a topic about this, but I was wondering if anybody had some news on The Hobbit. Well, do ya'?

There are some threads about it, but none tells anything new - PJ will first do King Kong which will take him some time so its possible that NLC makes an other director do it... probably some of the actors (like for Gandalf, Elrond, perhaps Arwen or Legolas) will be the same as in LOTR... but nothing new, no.

I dunno, there have been rumors and yes Ian Mckellen has been heard saying it would be great to work on and PJ has been thinking bout it. Possibly after King Kong

I dearly hope Legolas won't be in it because he doesn't need to be unless Bilbo will see the elves of Mirkwood, which would be really interesting considering......

Ah well I'm not sure what Arwen will be doing in The Hobbit.

The only characters that i think will be the same are Elrond, Gandalf(Grey of course), and Bilbo

I hope that Ian Holm gets to play Bilbo again in The Hobbit (if it gets made). Also it would be great if Ian McKellen return as Gandalf. Maybe John Rhyes Davies could play Thorin.

I don't think he will be willing to play Bilbo because that scene where you picks up the ring they had to tape his cheeks back so he'd looks younger, that must be really agitating for him.

True, and also PJ might go with a younger looking actor for Bilbo in the Hobbit. I still think that Ian did an excellent job as Bilbo so it would be interesting if he agrees to do it again (that is if he gets offer from PJ)

it make more sense for Davies to play gloin (gimlies father).

thorin should be played by Brian Blessed, or Tom Baker (who should have played Tom Bombadil)!
