A Numenorean TV series...
If STARZ, HBO, or SHOWTIME were making a series on the Fall of Numenor and the subsequent Numenorean Kingdoms in Middle-Earth with Elendil and his sons as the centeral characters, how would you guys feel about that?

I know this forum is basically dead, but I was kind of thinking that this thread would get a little bit of traffic, unless this topic just isn't interesting to anyone.

There are enough Medieval and Classical shows on TV as it is.

That would require superb writers, five tons of imagination to actually make up a series-style storyline and very patient audience. And money. I'm pessimistic.
I love the Nứmenórean history in Tolkien's writings, but much of it is only dramatic and/or epic on the written level, and might be quite pathetic to look at :/ (on the other hand, I thought the same of many LotR scenes, and some turned out to be quite popular in the movie).
