What if a Balrog (like Durin's Bane) plummets into the lava/magma in/of Mount Doom?

The Balrog esp the movie version and Mount Doom, the volcano in Mordor.

Probably nothing. As far as I'm aware, the fires of Mt. Doom could destroy the One Ring because they were used to forge it, not because they're particularly hot or anything like that.
