I'm utterly addicted to this show. It's quick wit and verbose satire make me giddy like a school girl every episode I watch.
For the uninitiated, here's a wiki summary:
The Big Bang Theory is an American situation comedy created and executive produced by Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady, which premiered on CBS on September 24, 2007. It concerns two 20-something prodigies, a theoretical and experimental physicist at Caltech, who live across the hall from a beautiful, blonde waitress with showbusiness aspirations; their geekiness is contrasted to her naïveté and common sense.
Sheldon does make me chuckle here and there but Howard is where it's at. His wordplay and innuendo is too funny.
On that note, I don't know how and why I manage to watch this show on a weekly basis when I could be watching something slightly more compelling as far as TV goes.
Then I look at Penny.
Great show. Sheldon and Howard are my favourite characters.

I am so gutted that we haven't got the new episodes here yet.. and they probably wont be on for a few months. We have got reruns of the first season though.
