What was the prop from 2001 in TPM? Was it the pod? I think it might have been.

Thanks yerrs. Though I have another question. When the hell was that prop used in 2001?
I would've liked it better if it was the pod. With a skelton of Dave Bowman on the inside. That would be kind of funny. Or maybe a consol of HAL 9000 collecting dust and covered in junk.
