there's something familiar about this place...
I know this is from the OT, but in ESB, (when Luke and R2 are setting up camp in Dagoba, Luke says "still...theres something falimiar about this place)
I always wondered if there was any purpose in the plot for that line...
my feeling is that Obi wan and yoda bring luke to dagoba as a baby then later bring him to live with owen...(although Luke seams frustrated to be there, he also seams comfortable and not intimidated by the creatures or surroundings...)
I think we will see dagoba in the end EP III

Yeah, I don't kwow what they're going to do with that...Maybe the twins are born on Dagobah...Or I wonder if he can sense his parents long ago presence there...Isn't there some indication now that Dagabah might show up in EP2?

Yes, this could be the fifth of the five planets that Gavin Bocquet talked about in the On Location video. Along with Coruscant, Naboo, Tatooine and the alledged "Rock" planet.
It could be that in Episode-III Obi Wan will "deliver" Yoda there whilst enroute to take Luke to Tatooine.

I think that their is a lot of lines in the OT that Lucas wishes were never their so he wouldn't have to tie up these loose ends.

Will we? There's no obligation, or enough time I imagine, to tie up all the loose ends. GL with undoubtedly be leave some open ended areas, but not the major plot points.

Good point RC..I don't think we can realistically guess what GL considers important at this point in the game.

I think that if you want to try and get more naswers you would have to accept the EU in all it's forms to get anywhere near that.
The EU, as we know, has ventured way beyond the end of ROTJ and I hope they will explore some of the events between Episode-III and Episode-IV as well, but not until AFTER Episode-III is release.

I think they would be shooting themselves in the foot if they didn't wait. They know that the fans go over that stuff with a fine tooth comb.

Exactly, there need the same kind of grounding that was present for Timothy Zahn et al when they started the EU, along with the EU graphic novels (OK, I mean comics!)

Well it might be sold as some fancy smancy graphic novel but you know as well as I do that it's just a big ol' fat comic book. What other fancy words do you use? Garage? Laa de da...it's a Carhole!
OH! and what about trousers? WHO SAYS TROUSERS?!!! hehehehe...gotcha!
