Because Dooku would have been around 69 in TPM which would mean when Dooku was Qui-Gon's master Dooku would have been between 6 and 10 years old.

I guess I didn't make myself clear. Qui-Gon was not in his 60's and probably not in his 50's.

Really? Well, then the source I heard that from was wrong. Anyway, when I read the stats on TPM characters (online) right before TPM was released it said QGJ was 60.
