I was really surprised that Qui Gon didn't make an appearance or was heard(except for that one little part) in AOTC.

Seriously, the only surprise was Qui-Gon not showing up, tho I heard that Liam broke his ankle, so he wasn't able to make an appearence. Hehe, think, Qui-Gon ghost on crutches.
