It was that far of a jump why the hell did obi-wan say 'Its over Anakin i have the high ground' still dont get it. Anakin colud have run along up the hill

I don't even get why he couldn't jump higher and farther above Obi(i think obiwan's jump in the tpm duel back onto the level of quigon and maul was farther) or to the side of him.

In the EP1 battle Obi-Wan would have been less fatigued, since it was earlier in the battle, and he hadn't used much of his force abilities. Anakin, However had to not-only use the force to battle Obi-Wan through an entire battle, but also had to use it to keep him from becoming de-hydrated as they fought on the Lava river, and Keep his muscles energised as he battled Obi-Wan.

Anakin jumped alot higher in AOTC when the Geonosians were attaking him and Padme.

What did Obi want him to do, exactly? Turn off his saber to surrender, throw it, and jump? Then does he take him somewhere or just finish him there? He should have just done that in a rouse and then attack Obi again. Heck if he does go back, he's going to hold him in some cell? But he didn't know that and was enraged.
