New Matrix articles at comingsoon.net.... Reloaded DVD article and the running time..

Considering The Matrix Revolutions is #1 on the ComingSoon.net Top Previews list, we thought you'd want to know every bit about it, including the running time. So how long will we be in the theater until Neo's fate is revealed? Here's 'Jonathan Fisher' with the scoop...

I'm in the UK and our ratings board - the BBFC - yesterday rated Matrix Revolutions as a '15' uncut. More relevant to worldwide viewers of the movie though, and not just UK, is the runtime of the movie, which was previously unreported on the net as far as I could see. It is 128 mins. (and 48 secs.). Minor shame it's shorter than Reloaded and the first Matrix by 10 mins and 8 mins. respectively, but 128 is still an excellent length. Just thought some people may want to know.

Thanks for the heads up. On this side of the Atlantic, the final installment opening November 5 in theaters and IMAX is rated R, for sci-fi violence and brief sexual content.

*********************************************
The Matrix Reloaded sold about 4 million combined VHS and DVD units in its first day on sale Tuesday, not setting a record but performing as well or better than most retailers had expected.

National video retailers and mass merchants said that preorders were very heavily skewed toward the DVD, with only about 5% of their total "Reloaded" sales making up VHS copies.

The first "Matrix" DVD, released in 1999, went on to become the top-selling title of that year, and one of the first few titles to top the 1 million DVD unit sales bar.

Meanwhile, Disney's remastered The Lion King has picked up steam, selling upward of 5 million combined DVD and VHS units during its first five days at retail.
