theme of matrix

The core theme of matrix is that Computers with advanced artificial intelligence (AI) have taken control of human life on the planet. These machines draw their power from the bio-chemical activity of thousands of human beings held captive inside capsule-like bubbles that feed them intravenous nutrients from birth to death. By plugging the humans’ brains into a computer-simulated world, the machines prevent the humans from knowing the Truth that they are being used as energy fuels. This computer-simulated world is called The Matrix.
All the sleeping human bodies incubated in the capsules are connected to this Matrix-generating computer via an implant in the back of their neck leading to their brains. Since all the brains are connected to one mainframe computer, each person perceives the same simulated world. The central computer feeds a continuous stream of stimuli to the brain causing each individual to perceive a full range of emotions and experiences associated with growing up, working, growing old, and finally dying. The inert humans live their whole life in a state of suspended animation, engaged in the computer-simulated Matrix world as if watching a movie. But, in this case, the simulation is so convincing that they feel they are actually living “real” lives.

This is how in our reality, the "One " singular consciosuness uses human body (and other beings) and generates a matrix world. All our enjoyment of sensual pleasures is dictated by the Consciousness (Source). All that we see that control us are the programs of Consciousness (Source).

Conclusion: All programs that control our lives (like in the matrix world) originates in the consciousness (Source). How do we know this truth?. Like Neo we have to unplug and know the truth. We will find that we are all like Neo have been plugged into the world of senses as dictated by consciousness (Source).

yeah...so? nothing you said is new...its exactly what the movies tell us if you understand them correctly...
I also wouldn't call this a theme, but more like a synopsis, because there are many many themes in the matrix, one is dealing with choice and how choices affect the future, another is in love and its power, yet another is about having faith in something you do not understand, all of which are demonstrated more than once.

Yes real....you really tell the truth. But without knowing what is real and unreal.....one cannot understand about choices, faith, power etc. If one can differentiate the two...one indeed knows it. this is the meaning of the chant astoma sad gamaya...while smith and neo fight in the end of relolutions. This means...lead me from unreal to real.

Having known the truth one would undestand how much faith and making choices helps in life........matrixjourney.com

When you find something good, why dont you accept it. To "know" is the basic instict of human. why deprive it and de-evolve to something lower?
