Neo is simply THE One

I think that Zion is in the real world ( there is only one matrix--the one we've seen), and Neo is not only the One in the matrix, but in the real world as well. He is Jesus, in modern terms. Anyone read their Bible? Maybe the Wachowski's wanted to show the second coming of Christ.

no no man hes not jesus cuz he has sinned. and IF he was jesus he would not fight back he would let them take him just like in the bible,Jesus didnt ever fight back.

because he wasn't supposed to! and again just because he is compared to jesus doesn't mean the story as to go the same way. is an up to date jesus!

Interestingly this is one of the main reasons the Jews rejected the notion that Jesus was the Messiah -- the Jews were expecting a militant -- someone who was going to lead a violent revolution against the Romans.
