I have noticed that on at least two simpsons episodes there are referces to the matrix.
In one episode there is a long corridor with loads of doors, bart jumps up, the camera spins around then bart runs towards the wall jumps up and runs along it.
In an other episode, at the beggining. they all run for the couch/sofa then just before they get there the camera spins around.
If you have seen any more matrix referces please tell
ummm they already are from wat i hear also apparently when bart becomes a menu delivery boy he does all these matrix moves and the theme from the matrix plays when he does them
Oh God a Simpsons movie would be the end of civilization. It destroys the whole spirit of the show. If they made it live action it would suck. If they make a cartoon it will suck. Seriously think about it, the show is good cause each episode has a good story, and I dunno If Matt could write a big movie but I suppose anythings possible.

i believe its gonna be a cartoon and it is possible i mean after all remember scooby doo and theres always the flintstones and a whole bunch of movies that were adapted from cartoons and even in the simpsons theres the itchy and scratchy movie so well jus have to wait and see
What would the plot be? Mr.Burns taking over the world? They've already done that just think about it. They don't have a whole lot of options.

There is a lot of denial in this ride, the ride, in fact, is made up of denial. It goes up and down and round and round. It has thrills and chills and it's very brightly coloured and it's very loud and it's fun, for a while. Some people have been on the ride for a long time and they begin to question, is this real, or is this just a ride? And other people have remembered, and they come back to us, they say, "hey - don't worry, don't be afraid, ever, because, this is just a ride..." And we... kill those people. Ha ha "Shut him up." "We have a lot invested in this ride. Shut him up. Look at my furrows of worry. Look at my big bank account and my family. This just has to be real." Just a ride. But we always kill those good guys who try and tell us that, you ever notice that? And let the demons run amok. But it doesn't matter because: It's just a ride. And we can change it anytime we want. It's only a choice. No effort, no work, no job, no savings and money. A choice, right now, between fear and love. The eyes of fear want you to put bigger locks on your doors, buy guns, close yourself off. The eyes of love, instead, see all of us as one. Here's what we can do to change the world, right now, to a better ride. Take all that money that we spend on weapons and defences each year and instead spend it feeding and clothing and educating the poor of the world, which it would many times over, not one human being excluded, and we could explore space, together, both inner and outer, forever, in peace.' - the late prophet Bill Hicks.
As for a Simpsons movie I'm not sure. I heard about it a few yeas ago but i've heard nothing since. I love The Simpsons it is my favourite TV show. It makes you think that if one 22 min show is packed with so much humour that a movie could be hilerious. But it could just as easily go the other way and ruin The Simpsons for me forever. My advice to Groening and the crew is if it ain't broke don't fix it...

From Dark Horizons:
The Simpsons (TV): With talk of big screen adventures for the famous Springfield residents, TheManRoom turned to Emmy-Award winning executive producer/writer Al Jean (whose worked on over 200 episodes of the series) for answers to two of the burning questions on many people's mind. First off, are there any related projects planned? "They talked about doing a spin-off starring Krusty. My view of it is that the show, itself, is still vital and we wouldn’t want to do anything to dilute it. We might do feature films, but I would say they should just do the series as long as they want and then do features if they choose to". So there are films on the way? "Yeah, there’s a deal in place, but it’s years away from completion. We’re just concentrating now on keeping the show as good as possible".
