You Cast: Ultimates: The Movie
Alright, the studio finally gets rights to all these characters in one place. They want to do a gripping drama about a world where Superheroes exist and take out all the camp of it and make it real realistic.
As such, they're making it off of the Ultimates more than the Avengers, but they'll do lots of shoutouts/easter eggs for Longtime comic fans (like all good comic movies should...)
The Main Characters right now seem to be:
Captian America--hardcore leader dealing with past
Thor--lovable in a cool godlike sort of way
Iron Man--brilliant man with real issues
Wasp--chip on her shoulder chick with a secret
Giant Man--arrogant basterd
The Studio has also decided to go with Sam Jackson as Nick Fury for dozens of reasons:

The Studio is also thinking of getting Eric Bana to reprise his role as Hulk for continuity sake and audience comfort

Storylines are being bantied about, but something about goverment corruption seems likely, as it could pit Hulk, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch against the core team.
Incorporating Vision in a realistic way is also being evaluated. Perhaps for this movie he is the comptuer's A.I. and projects himself as a hologram.
