The "tingle"

Since Spider-man assumed the abilities of a spider, i was wondering how that old spider-sense fit in. Now i know. A spider has eight eyes, parker's spider sense is like the other 6 eyes fixed and/or roving. It's not a telepathic sense, which makes the non-mutant super-hero even cooler.
I wish Matt Murdock were here : In Spider-man's defense, there is no better suited fighter than him. He may not come out on top like your ultra violent warrior or defender type but he is the Namor of dry land.
Nightcrawler and beast can climb walls with their toes, we know what Spidey can do. He's stronger, faster, and more agile than Nightcrawler will ever be.
Given the answer to Spider-man, you could trust him to make the right choice. He's honest.
Unlike Captian America who has an alligence to Country, Spider-man plays fair. That's a tough fight.

Spiders have hairs on their legs that can sense vibrations as well as minute changes in air pressure. The response to any threat is then very fast due to these hairs actually being attached to the nervous system instantly. It would be like a human having every hair attached to the spinal cord(maximising speed of reflex).Something lik that.I may not be 100percent right but def 70percent. the Best jumping spiders can jump 40 times their body length(thats like Parker jumping 250feet and he never has!they underplayed his jumping in the comics). The fastest spider which can also run on water runs at 36 body lengths per second.now an olympic sprinter runs at 10mters(thats about 5.5 body lengths) per second so spidey should be able to run at about 150mph with that proportionate speed, but he never seems to run at all so We're yet to see if he can run that fast). There is however no evidence of spiders being able to lift 140 times their body weight(coz thats what 10tonnes or 22400lbs is to Peters 165lbs of body weight!) But we can just say that to jump that far you'd need muscles that strong I suppose. Oh I've gotta go, theres a really interesting programme on National Geographic!

Wow spider man on water and jumping. I told you the perfect 10 rocked.
Umh, i have to say it is said that his spider sense is indeed a "sense" geneticlly enhanced. It is implied that it is linked to intuition. This can be explained through the physcial adaptation of a genetically enhanced and transmitted power. Probely more to the transmission part than the spider part.
