Has anybody noticed how 'the incredibles' is a TOTAL rip off of the Fantastic Four. Clearly, Disney just wanted to get this film released before the FF movie was.
Lets take a look at the similarities:
A family of superheroes (3 of the fantastic 4 are related)
One of them has an elastic body that can stretch a long way.
One of them is invisible.
One of them has super strength.
They have a baby with super powers as well.
Even the name of the film is a rip off of the fantastic four.

I wouldnt have minded if they had waited until after the fantastic four movie was released, but now there will be loads of kids who wont go to see the fantastic 4 movie because they think that IT is a rip-off of the incredibles
I woudn't worry about it too much. every institution of lower education i was ever in had a copy of the fantastic four little golden book. They'll see it.

You must be joking, because this is the most absurd thing I have ever heard.
1) Mr. Incredible was a fulltime super hero. Ben Richards was a scientist. On top of that, before Mr. Fantastic, Plastic Man had debuted 20 YEARS before Fantastic Four.
2) Well, the obvious fact that there are FIVE family members all directly related in The Incredibles. Were the Fantastic Four dysfunctional? I think not.
3) The super-powers that these people have are easily the most basic, and over-used in comic books over the years. Super human strength, invisibility, lightning speed, shape shifting? Give me a break.
4) So, where were the Thing and Human Torch ripoffs in The Incredibles? When did The Flash join Fantastic Four? BOY, Doctor Doom and Syndrome look so much alike!
..oh..and there was this other baby with super human powers. His name was Kal-El, known to the rest of us as Superman.
I admire your dedication, but there aren't enough similarities to merit calling this a rip-off.

I wouldn't say it is a rip off. The story is about 3 super heroes (Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, Frozone) who are told they are no longer aloud to be super heroes because society fears them. Fantastic Four never had that happen to them. They have 4 family members that the story revolves around, a mother, father and two kids... Fantastic Four is Mr. Fantastic, his wife, his brother-in-law and a family friend.
The Fan 4 got there powers from radiation in space... The Incredibles got there powers at birth.
The Incredibles spoofed almost every comic series on the market. The had characters pretty much like Iceman, Cyclops, Supergirl, superman... hell you name it you will probably see them in the back ground or the old footage. It is a movie about Super heros that is the only thing it realy has in common with the fan 4. And an animated Pixar movie is not going to stop people from seeing a live action super hero movie. People love action movies. Look how well Spider Man and the X-men did... if the previews look good people will come and see it.

its a superhero parody, in case you haven't seen it theres a dead superhero named gazer or something, he's basically a cyclops parody, its really no big deal, i thought it was really cool and pretty funny, the fights were sweet
Yes, but the Thin Man debuted over a year before Plastic Man, back in June of 1940, Plastic Man was around August 1941. Not to nit pick, but just to give credit where credit's due. Thin Man is a Marvel property.
Just an FYI, not that it has anything to do with the Incredibles.
Gender: Male Location: between apathy and indifference
You "hate" animated CGI figures because they personally offend your comic book senses?
Leave the keyboard, walk away, pursue a life outside of comics and computers...you are on the edge my friend where your reality is being affected by little people that don't exist.

i think your just mad cause The incredibles was a great fun movie that will probably end up doing better then fantastic four--dont get me wrong i want the FF to be a good movie but..the incredibles was really good. (i just saw it 2 days ago.)
just calm down and try and defend the Green lanturn and why he doesn't have a movie--lol
Green Lantern would be sure to spark debate. Do you cast him as a older black guy in spandex, or the jolly white guy with a bow and arrow, that looks like he could be a stand in for Robin Hood?
As for this upcoming "Fantastic Four" movie, it's almost destined to fail. It's going to be held up to the success of "X Men", it's lack of star power will hurt it, and the fact that people seem genuinely disinterested in another comic book movie about a obscure legion of super-heroes.
coming from some one with "the incredibles" in his sig. u realy know nothing do you? the baby he is refering to is franklyn richards, there are very few if any aperances where superman acualy uses his powers as a baby.
and yes people will think that FF4 is a rippoff, well kids will anyway. i heard kids say that the hulk was a ripoff from shrek ( i know SHREK, i puked to its ok)
