doc sampson's powers get stronger as his hair gets longer

ok so if he gets more powerful as his hair grows than he technicaly has no limit to his strength as long as it keeps on growing. am i right? it would get in his way but if he found a way to style it or put it up or something so he can keep on growing it and become really powerful. he is such a genius y hasn't he figured out how to keep his hair from getting in his way other than cutting it?

His strength grows with his hair. He can continue to let his hair grow as long as he lives, and his strength will be proportional to his hair length.

so dont you wonder why the writers haven't devised a way for him to never cut his hair and not get in the way because of its length? i mean all he has to do is find a way to keep his hair neat and out of his way but also keep growing it.
