Silver Surfer Movie--DVD Cartoon or BIg Screen Live Action Movie?

With all the computer graphics these days, could Marvel pull off a big screen, live action Silver Surfer movie without making it too cheesy?

Or would the project be better as a cartoon, direct to video DVD?

A SS movie is already planned to hit theaters June 2007. By that time they'll definitely have the resources and abilities needed to make the movie look good. I hope they put Firelord in it cuz he's my favorite herald.
