Which incarnation of the Flash will be put into the Flash movie? We all know the options-- Jay, Barry, Wally, or even Bart.
In my opinion, it should be Wally. Yes, he's Flash 3.0, but I think he's a more marketable character than the others. And if they end up going with Ryan Reynolds to portray Flash, Wally would be a much better fit for his personality.
However, if they do go with Wally, they would have to do some major work on his origin. As you know, Barry was still around when West got his powers, so how do you explain that? As much as I would love to see him start out as Kid-Flash (meaning Barry is in the film at the beginning) I don't think audiences will go for it.
I just hope they can pull it off without mutilating whatever character they choose.
Barry is legendary superhero that is mentioned in the movie but who quits when his wife is killed by...Professor Zoom. Wally continues in his footsteps when he undergones the same accident and finds out that Flash is his uncle. He faces Zoom and new villain (Grodd, Weather Wizard) in the movie later. He wins, everything ends up good.
