But it could be a nice way to create a "Movie Multiverse"... It may sound stupid at first, but think of the possibilities... A "Movie Multiverse" could spawn a, dare I say it, Crisis on Infinite Earths movie... If done right, and rewritten to include a meeting of two Batmen and Supermen (a surreal moment that would be shown in comic book movie montages from then till forever), it could be the greatest comic book movie to ever be...
As for casting this Justice League, I would make it...
Superman: Tom Welling- He's already Clark Kent in Smallville, so he understands the character, and I would kinda like to see him don the mantle of the Man of Steel, being an "alternate" Superman from the Donnor/Singer one...
Batman: Michael Keaton- Who better? He's already been Batman in the Burton films, so he understands the character, and I would like a definitive end to the Burton saga, with Batman as this Earth's first costumed hero, with metahumans coming during his fifties... He'd have animosity towards them, being the loner of the group, but he'd know that he needs their help to stop this super powered threat (please let it be Darkseid!) And would eventually garner respect for Superman and the rest...
Wonder Woman: Kate Beckinsale- She seemed very interested in the role, she's hot, and she's been in a decent action movie before, so I have faith that she could play the Amazonian princess...
The Flash: Ryan Reynolds- Again, he seemed interested in the role, so just give him the role, I'm sure he'll do fine...
Green Lantern: David Boreanaz- He's voicing Lantern in the DTV New Frontier, so why not let him play him in live action?
Green Lantern: Henry Simmons- He's the choice if you want a John Stewart Lantern...
Green Arrow: Justin Hartley- He played the character on Smallville, so he'd be fine for the role...
Vixen: Halle Berry- She seems good for the role... Vixen's basically a model who has powers of animals... Not much work needed... She'd be a much needed second female member... (Hopefully she wouldn't destroy the role like she did with Catwoman)
Martian Manhunter: Christopher Judge- He'd work perfectly as J'onn... Needs no explanation... At least, I think so...
Darkseid: I'm not really sure, how about you guys decide...
And if I have to...
Supergirl: Hillary Duff- I've seen a couple of manips with her as Supergirl, so she at least can look like the character... (She'd be there just to die in a possible Crisis movie, so we could have an iconic "Superman carrying Supergirl's corpse" scene)
Any thoughts?

Interesting choices, but Keaton will never put the rubber suit back on. Kate Beckinsale has already turned down WW on numerous ocasions. Hilary Duff as Kara, I don't see her as a comic book character. Berry ruined Catwoman so I doubt sdhe'll do another character. I do see Ryan Reynolds as The Flash and I also see The Flash dieing so they can spin off Wally West. Welling turned down the Supes Returns crap. Christopher Judge has a distinctive voice so he may work out. David Boreanaz as a comic book character, he would be an interesting choice.

Re: Re: Re: Justice League Movie
There's been some news about him being interested in both movies as well as not wanting to do Deadpool because of some character he played in a Blade movie.

Well, seeing as how Keaton and Welling aren't exactly favorite choices, how about...
Superman: I REALLY can't think of anyone other than Routh, Welling, or if you want an older Superman (which you probably don't, and I
don't want one either), Gerard Christopher (as you can see, I want people with experience in the roles, to give the project some credibility, which it's losing fast)...
Batman: David Boreanaz- I've heard people around the net that have faith in him being an able candidate, and I'm really out of ideas, so... (though I'd still love to see Keaton one more time)
Wonder Woman: Kate Beckinsale
Martian Manhunter: Christopher Judge
Green Lantern: Henry Simmons
Flash: Ryan Reynolds
Green Arrow: Justin Hartley
Darkseid: Who to be Darkseid? He's definitely worthy of being in the movie, but I can't think of anyone to cast as him...

Doubt Tom Jane will ever do another comic book movie. I've always liked Uma, but she is too old for Diana. Kevin McKidd may be playing Thor so he won't be involved. Ron Perlman is also to old, a good choice nonetheless and Leonidas himself as an older version of Batman, he may work.

I was suspending reality in my post, thats more or less who i would like to see. Mckidd might Thor though? That is pretty sweet. You think perlman is to old for darksied though? After makeup and all, The only thing i see is the presence and voice.

Ron Perlman is too old for Darkseid. Ten years ago, I would have said Michael Dorn because he also has a distinctive voice. Voice wise Perlman would be a good choice, but since he will be fighting, just can't see it.
[SPOILER - highlight to read]: Tom Wellling may be Supes[/B]
I've heard they want to do this in motion-capture animation, like Polar Express and the upcoming Beowulf. Maybe that's why they're after George Miller to do this, coming off his first foray in animation with Happy Feet?
If so, it makes casting choices less hard. But, I doubt this is what fans want to see - they want live-action superheroes on the big screen.

Not to sure about George miller, but i would prefer this direction than live action. I think most all Superhero movies should be cgi or animation anyway. This movie would CGI heavy anyway, and to present the CGI realistically an astronomical budget would be required. Why not just Do it all in CGI or animation and be able to offer more.

That's why so much superhero stuff was animated saturday morning TV; because they didn't have the tech to pull it off and make it look convincing, for the most part - the early Superman films being an exception. Now that we have CGI creating reality so good we can't tell the difference, they have to go for live action, or it's regression. Animation is just for the direct-to-DVD market and TV now, for superheroes.

Ryan Reynolds is over rated and is way too old to be the The Flash. RR is 32, Wally West is between 18-20 when he get his powers of super speed. Another thing Reynolds looks,"NOT" a thing like Wally West. He looks like Jay Garrick (Flash 1) but nothing like Wally West. I've seen many actors and the best person who comes across facially to being Wally West is actor Sean William Scott (American Pie, American Pie 2, American Wedding, Final Destination). If a Justice League movie is made Sean William Scott should land the role as The Fastest Man Alive.
