An hour-long procedural with a Marvel signature and a new take on one of the comic book giant’s iconic characters, Frank Castle, a rising star detective with the New York Police Department who moonlights as the vigilante Punisher, seeking justice for those the system has failed.
Hmmm...I would think cable (HBO or Showtime) would be better, for the level of violence that should be involved. But TV will probably work better for The Punisher than movies will.

well they would have to do something with castle rather than just have him being a vigilante. That would get redundant rather quickly. As for the violence..,basic cable is getting away with a lot more these days. Look at breaking bad and sons of anarchy. Its a comic book premise so it will fail but i would like to see this do well.
