Harry is the one person who Ron would approve Ginny going out with, therefore I think that there is some kind of foreshadowing there. Also, noone else has really taken an interest in Harry in that way before, apart from Cho, and she's well gone. Now that Ginny is over her initial embarrasment of talking to Harry I think they would be very good together.
