Believing it referred to the young Harry Potter, Voldermort, impetuous and rash, acted on it, went and tried to kill Harry, Lily and James tried to stop him and Voldermort killed them as a result...

people seriously, stop being stupid.........if you havent read all 6 books, you seriously dont need to be in here.........no need to put spoiler bracket things. Also, that is the stupidest theories ever. The Prophecy is the reason he killed James and Lily.
It may be excusable, but to have to put spoilers on the fifth book?
