Not everyones´a mega looney fan of harry potter but nontheless interested, like me.
So I thought I´d start this thread so people who arn´t experts can ask questions.
I just saw the latest movie on DVD and don´t understand the following.
1. Why didn´t Harry just zap the Dragaon away, by levitating it?, or use his wand to pull the egg towars him.
2. How come someone was able to totally change the tri wizard competition without any of the old wizards like dumbeldoor noticing.

We have a thread for questions. The Offical Ask Hermione Thread. But I will answer anyways. Harry could just zap the dragon away because, well..... size kinda matters here. You can't just zap people. The magic that Harry knows isn't enough to take on a fully grown dragon like that. Levitating a dragon also not easy. Once more, size matters. And that's one big size if you ask me. As for the accioing the egg to him.... why didn't he just do that? It is possible that the egg could have been under a spell to have magic not affect it. Or it could be that there is a giant dragon in the way that it would still be hard to get its egg.
As for how someone can change it without someone knowing, just as the person did. Crough JR. put it in the cup. That's all that needs to be done.

2. He didn't change the whole damn thing. He prodded Harry in the right directions to help him through the Tournament. It took "Every ounce of Cunning" Crouch possessed.
It probably would have smelt him anyway. Then, he wouldn't have been about to get away quickly enough to avoid possible Injury.
maybe it came from the similarities between the sounds of the letter "e" and "i" ....stop trying to make yourself feel superior to others.... no ones entering a spelling contest when they post..
