General Rules
1) Registered users of KMC Forums are permitted and encouraged to post DVD and VHS titles, new or used, which they wish to buy, sell, or trade. Sales are limited to actual DVD, VHS, and Laser disc movies. No memorabilia, please.
2) Links to auction houses, personal auctions, or outside movie retail websites are considered SPAM and will not be permitted.
3) No trolling of any sort is permitted. If you take issue with a users tactics, report them to either a moderator or myself personally. (i.e. don't complain about someone selling "Hackers" on VHS for $20.)
Selling Guidelines
1) Links to auctions or outside movie retail websites are considered SPAM and will not be permitted.
2) Items for sale, and their prices, must be equal to or below fair market value. i.e. "Shrek 2" DVD cannot exceed $19.99 at any point.
Users are encouraged to set their own prices, but items sold at an obviously inflated price are subject to removal.
3) Condition of items must be CLEARLY stated in your post, meaning NEW or USED. Video rental store sold DVD/VHS are to be referred to as PVM.
4) Format of items , both physical and aesthetic, must also be CLEARLY stated. This includes the Region Code, VCD, and PAL VHS mediums. Widescreen movies are WS, Fullscreen, FS. Flipper discs, WS/FS.
5) ABSOLUTELY NO BOOTLEGS, PORNOGRAPHY, OR MOVIES BEARING A RATING OF X, XXX, or NC-17!
6) Sellers take full responsibility for their advertisements, as well as acknowledge the rules established therein.
7) Sellers worldwide are welcome to take part.
8) Currencies will differ from country to country, so please set your sale prices with your native currency. Currency conversions can be made at www.babblefish.com.
Buying Guidelines
1) "Wanted" lists are allowed, given they are free of titles that fall under the restricted materials list in the selling guidelines above.
2) Correspondence between buyer and seller is to be carried out through IM, PM, or E-Mail. Please do not use this thread for general conversation.
3) When a transaction is complete, both BUYER and SELLER/TRADER are encouraged to leave brief feedback for one another in the appropriate thread. A brief messaage about how your transaction conspired will suffice.

I finally bought a DVD player this past April, and have since purchased something like 100 DVDs, but am fast running out of space on shelves!!
I have 375 VHS, all considered USED, and previously-viewed at least once (I think I've seen them all at least once...)
I'm looking to sell them all to trade up to DVD, which mean prices are drastically reduced! I'll make absolutely NO MONEY on this deal, as I rebuy DVDs to replace sold VHS!!
Generally, I sell any title for $9, about 1/2 price of the norm $15-$20 selling price...
Purchasing multiple selections, sequels, or sets will reduce the cost per item, so buy bulk people!!
I dread breaking up any set, since I doubt I will revert to purchasing video now that I'm hooked on DVD, (who would bother buying only Friday the 13th Part III on DVD while the rest of the collection was on the shelf in VHS?? Not me!!) so consider sets as all-or-none deals, for the best bargain. Otherwise, the cost per each cassette of any particular set or series will be $20 each (this is NOT a money-making ploy on my part, simply trying my best to sell VHS in order to trade up to DVD, and, as I am offering 300+ titles at rock-bottom prices, I hope the stipulation on pricing of set-pieces is acceptable by Cinemadiction and other posters, and will not get me in trouble for infracting upon the 'no price over retail' rule...)

because they are all still for sale... it's not exactly the same list, because every few weeks, after I sell some, I post the updated, shorter list, to let the rest of you know that some have been sold...
simply by virtue of the fact that the list has changed, that some titles have been removed, and that I only remove titles from the list after they have been sold from my collection, uhh I have to say NO, I do not realize that no one will buy the VHS ones... because obviously, people have bought some VHS ones... thanks!

not too many to a store, for trade up to DVD... like about 8 titles, traded up to 3 DVDs... the rest I sold to regular folk, buyers like those here who read this board, so there is interest in VHS still...
I my self only just started my DVD collection this year, and I imagine there are others who haven't switched up to DVD yet...
