For many a month, I have been traveling across this thing called the Internet, to the farthest corner, to the deepest depths, for the Karate Kid Boxset...
Everywhere I went, it would say "sorry, this item is no longer available" or "buy each one separately" or "go away, we don't want your business"
Finally, Columbia/Tristar has decide to (re?)release the boxset of all 4 movies! Although the 4th film is horrible, I am still excited that I will be able to buy the set.
There is a box set of that movie!Oh my god shot me now!I hate that movie so much.It is long and has horrible acting in it.JM

sure it had horrible acting, sure the cinematography was mediocre (at best) for its time period, sure the movie has grown into the "played out" category for many people...but I think for those closer to my age, it was a great movie during our childhood...definitely something I must add to my DVD collection...I think Rad, Gotcha!, and Thrashin fall into the same area.
Also, over 2,000 "dojo's" spawned across the nation within 3 years of the release of Karate Kid I.

Sound like a great deal for KK fans. Personally I'm more looking forward to a Especial Edition of the original KK myself.

In Canada.
The first movie was inspirational, the second was about relationship, and the thrid was about revenge. The fourth however was about seeing how badly you can destroy a legecy of a good story. I enjoyed the first two, but three and four were awful.
